About YMCA Gymnastics

Our philosophy is to develop self-esteem and build physical skills that are important for life-long fitness in a fun environment. We choose to make a positive difference in the lives of children, teaching them to associate fitness with FUN and creating success for kids by focusing on what each child needs to learn, not what everybody else is learning.

Safety

Safety is our number one concern at the Greenwood Family YMCA Gymnastics Center. Our instructors are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified. Our program is designed to prepare the gymnasts for their skill level by following and mastering skill progressions. Flexibility, conditioning and strength are a part of our program to better prepare them for their skill level, from the tiny “twos” all the way through our competitive program.
